Bramble Cocktail
hello i am a hidden space!
The Bramble, a visually stunning and deliciously tart cocktail, emerged in the 1980s as a creation of legendary bartender Dick Bradsell in London. Known for his innovative approach to mixology, Bradsell crafted the Bramble as a celebration of blackberries, a quintessentially British fruit. The cocktail blends gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and blackberry liqueur, typically Crème de Mûre, resulting in a vibrant and refreshing libation. The Bramble gained popularity through its appearance in Bradsell's cocktail book and quickly became a favourite in the cocktail renaissance of the late 20th century. Its distinctive presentation, with a blackberry garnish and a mesmerising cascade of crushed ice, adds to its allure, making the Bramble a modern classic with deep roots in both British tradition and contemporary mixology.
