HOW TO MAKE A SOUTHSIDE

Here's a simple Southside recipe for you to enjoy:
Ingredients:
  • 50 ml London Dry Gin
  • 25 ml Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 25 ml Sugar Syrup
  • 8-10 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • Ice Cubes
  • Mint sprig, for garnish
Instructions:

1. Muddle the Mint:

  • In a shaker, gently muddle the fresh mint leaves to release their flavours. Be careful not to over-muddle, as it can make the cocktail bitter.

2. Add Ingredients & Ice:

  • Add London Dry Gin, freshly squeezed lime juice, and sugar syrup to the shaker
  • Fill the shaker with ice cubes.

3. Shake Well:

  • Shake the ingredients vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to chill the mixture.

4. Strain into the Glass:

  • Strain the mixture from the shaker into a chilled coupe glass or a rocks glass filled with ice.

5. Garnish & Serve:

  • Garnish with a mint sprig by placing it on top of the drink.
  • Your Southside cocktail is now ready to be enjoyed! Sip and savour the crisp and minty flavours of this classic cocktail.
