HOW TO MAKE A SOUTHSIDE
Ingredients:
- 50 ml London Dry Gin
- 25 ml Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
- 25 ml Sugar Syrup
- 8-10 Fresh Mint Leaves
- Ice Cubes
- Mint sprig, for garnish
1. Muddle the Mint:
- In a shaker, gently muddle the fresh mint leaves to release their flavours. Be careful not to over-muddle, as it can make the cocktail bitter.
2. Add Ingredients & Ice:
- Add London Dry Gin, freshly squeezed lime juice, and sugar syrup to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
3. Shake Well:
- Shake the ingredients vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to chill the mixture.
4. Strain into the Glass:
- Strain the mixture from the shaker into a chilled coupe glass or a rocks glass filled with ice.
5. Garnish & Serve:
- Garnish with a mint sprig by placing it on top of the drink.
- Your Southside cocktail is now ready to be enjoyed! Sip and savour the crisp and minty flavours of this classic cocktail.
Cheers!
