Nestled approximately 112 kilometers from Guatemala City, Zacapa draws its name from the Nahuatl (Aztec) language, translating to "on the river of grass." The flavourful essence of Zacapa is curated by Lorena Vásquez, a seasoned master blender with over 35 years of expertise. As one of the few female leaders in the traditionally male-dominated spirits industry, Lorena Vásquez has garnered recognition as one of PEOPLE en Español’s 25 Most Influential Women in 2015, solidifying her position as a trailblazer in her field.
