In 1740, Admiral Edward Vernon's remedy for the British Navy's rum complaints, involving limes and sugar, inadvertently birthed a legendary mixologist persona: "Old Grog." Old J Rum pays tribute to this historical figure by reinventing Vernon's recipe with the finest Caribbean Rum and a secret blend of spices, vanilla, sugar, and Persian lime. Through relentless experimentation, Old J Rum achieved the perfect harmony of flavours, resulting in its distinctive smooth and spicy profile.

Today, Old J offers six unique varieties, all rooted in the same blended spirit. However, Old J Gold stands apart, crafted from a rum sourced from the British Virgin Isles, distilled in a traditional pot still.
