El Cabrón Artesanal Mezcal Joven is handcrafted in the enchanting region of Santa Ana Del Rio, Oaxaca, Mexico, following the timeless traditions of classical artisanal production. This exceptional Mezcal Artesanal Joven undergoes a lengthy process, beginning with the agave being cooked in an underground conical pit, carefully heated with rocks, fire, and wood. To extract the essence of the agave, it is then ground using a round stone rock, traditionally pulled by a horse. The resulting liquid is fermented in a spacious 1,000-litre wooden barrel, infusing it with unique flavours, before undergoing the double-distillation process in a refined copper still.

This expression serves as an ideal introduction to the world of mezcal, capturing the essence of its rich and diverse flavours. With every sip, one is greeted by the bold presence of a bonfire smoke, complemented by notes of charred agave and a hint of brine.
