Created in the late 20th century, the cocktail's origins are attributed to London bartender Douglas Ankrah, who crafted it in the early 2000s at his bar, Townhouse. The Passion Fruit Martini typically features vodka, passion fruit puree, vanilla syrup, and often includes a side shot of sparkling wine. Known for its eye-catching appearance and the inclusion of a Prosecco shot on the side, this libation offers a delightful balance of sweet and tart notes, making it a favourite among cocktail enthusiasts seeking a refreshing and visually appealing drink experience.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Instructions:

1. Prepare Your Glass:
• Chill a martini glass in the freezer or by filling it with ice water while you prepare the ingredients.

2. Shake the Ingredients:
• Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
• Add vodka, passion fruit liqueur, passion fruit puree, vanilla syrup, and fresh lime juice to the shaker.

3. Shake Well:
• Shake the ingredients vigorously for about 10-15 seconds. This ensures a well-mixed and chilled cocktail.

4. Strain into the Glass:
• Discard the ice from the chilled martini glass.
• Strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.

5. Prepare the Side Shot (Optional):
• If you're including the traditional side shot of Prosecco, pour a small amount into a shot glass.

6. Garnish & Service:
• Garnish the cocktail with a passion fruit half or a lime wheel on the rim of the glass.
• Serve the Passion Fruit Martini with the optional Prosecco shot on the side.
