Aberlour Distillery 12 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky originates from the Speyside Village of Aberlour, where it is crafted using local spring water from the Ben Rinnes and barley that is now sourced from nearby fields close to the distillery. The whisky is matured in two distinct casks, American oak and Spanish sherry, allowing for a depth of flavour to develop over time.
As a result of this unique process, the whisky has a golden amber colour with a touch of ruby red. Its aroma is soft and rounded, with notes of red apples. The taste is rich and sherried, with hints of chocolate, toffee, cinnamon, and ginger. The finish is sweet and warm, with a lingering spice. The true nature of Aberlour whisky can only be revealed through tasting it, as the nuances and complexities of its flavour profile can only be fully appreciated by experiencing it firsthand.
